Over

June is over and the time has come for us to move. We will be officially moving to Boulder around July 21st but just about all of our stuff will be in Boulder. Guess its time to go to bed so I can get up early and get things done around here. Bye Bye June 2010.

Wednesday

Two days left and since it is last actually less than that. Well today wasn't to productive but this evening has been! This morning I went to the movies and lunch with Brex and Carter, then when to Sweethearts to help clean-up.
Today was our last night at youth group so we went to that and then we have been home getting things done. Everything has to be done by Friday so that it can be loaded then cleaned and we will be off on Saturday! Hopefully I can get it all done because I have to do it alone tomorrow since Donny is working and Mom is helping Nannie clean at Sweethearts.

Ashlyn's Birthday BBQ

So on Sunday, Donny and I went to baby Ashlyn's 1st Birthday BBQ. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures from the event, but we were there. I feel so blessed that I get to be apart of this family I just enjoy everyone. And on the plus side they adore me. Parents and Kids. I have had the joy of watching little Ash grow and learn and can't believe that she is already one! I even had the honor of being the only one that Mom will let watch her (besides her own mom). I am sad to be leaving, but don't think my relationship with this family will be lost anytime soon. As a matter of fact I am taking the two older boys to see a move and lunch tomorrow! It should be fun and hopefully pictures from this event!

Pizza

Just to let you know it is really hard to cut a pizza with a knife. Our pizza cutter is packed away and well we had to use a knife. Donny didn't think it was as hard as I was making it and when I saw what his pizza looked like on his plate it sure looked like he struggled. Note to self: Don't pack the pizza cutter even if you haven't used it in how knows how long...you might still need it.

Night

So we have managed to fill our night with a lot of nothing. Took a bunch of junk to Goodwill, got some boxes from Treyce and then got some dessert at Chick-fil-a. Donny is currently climbing and I am sitting on the computer talking to Krissy while the clothes are in the dryer. Guess I should actually go do something so that I am not going crazy tomorrow afternoon and Thursday. Even though there is not to much left its the end that is always the worst. The little things you need but don't need. I guess I am off to do something productive.

Tuesday

Well its Tuesday. This means that there is only three more days here. I am excited but sad at the same time. I would have no problem living in grand junction. Boulder sure will be fun too. Didn't pack-up anything last night. Just about everything left is things we need for the next three days. Tonight we will probably be picking something that we can part with. So glad that I am not going crazy right now. This defiantly was not a procrastinators job. Its supposed to be close to 100 degrees here today...hopefully its not to hot of Friday!

Prices

Since our townhome has hook-ups for washer and dryer I have been looking on Craigslist for some used ones because I know new ones would just be to much. I have been asking Donny if he though these ones would be good, or these ones, and then he said he wanted to go see how much new ones were before knew. So tonight we stopped by Sears to check it out. Donny was surprised. The start at $350 a piece and go up from there. So I would say $200 or so for both is a pretty good price. Hopefully we are able to find some quick. I am pretty excited about being able to do laundry in my house!

Hot

It's hot out and well when you drive a car without air conditioning you realize just how hot it is. Sure glad I remembered my water bottle this morning. Hope that the Jeep comes back soon. Really hoping that I get a job so that we can buy a new car! Of course not until our jeep is paid off along with my student loan. So it might be a while. Guess we are going to have to have to car a little while longer. Right now I am just enjoying my air conditioned apartment!

Jeep

Donny is taking the Jeep into the shop today and I am really hoping that they are able to fix whatever might be wrong with it today or they can tell Donny what they think that it might be and he can fix it. Today I am driving the car babysitting all the way to Fruita. Hope that I don't have to go anywhere while I am babysitting because the car has no air conditioner so it is HOT. I know Donny drives it everyday, but he doesn't have to go that far or potentailly have children in the car with him. It will all be fine but I do like my Jeep. Thanks Donny for wanting it to be safe for our drive (and many more to come) to Boulder this weekend.

Monday

Wow. The week has finally arrived and this is the last Monday that we will be staying at our first apartment. Next week on this very day we will be in Boulder unpacking and getting our new townhome some love. Hope that between working and everything else planed this week we are able to get everything packed and ready to be loaded on Friday. And you know that is not that far away.

So Not

So don't want to do anything right now...I just want a nap. Guess I better get motivated because Clara is moving this weekend and is taking our love seat because we just don't have room for it at the townhome and it's in no condition to be moved right now. We only have seven days before our apartment has to be packed up and I am so not ready for this. Guess I better find some motivation quick.

Thursday

Its Thursday already. And instead of my usual Monday-Tuesday I am working Thursday-Friday so this week has already seemed a little weird. But I have go a lot done around here and I think we are on the right track to having things packed up...need to work a little every night on days that I have stuff to do though. Hopefully I won't be going crazy at this time next week. Wow. One week until our house had to be practically packed. Its going to be CRAZY. I can't believe its already here....we are moving. We have talked about it so long and now its actually almost here. Probably won't be doing anything at the house tonight...babysit for Anne this morning, then for Heather later in the afternoon, then I will be off to Homekeepers and this month we are putting together Krissy's wedding centerpieces. Should be an awesome fun day!

What a Yesterday

Got quiet a bit done yesterday! Packed up things in our room, got our closet cleaned out, took apart the storage thing we have and have a few bags of stuff to go to Good Will. Now lets just see if I can get anything done today. After lunch I am going to call about some more boxes and maybe pack some more things. before I know it its going to be this time next week and I will be going crazy. Sure does look nice outside...wish I was out there enjoying it! Gotta go to the lake before we leave...a must! Guess I better do something....half the day is already over.
Sweetheart had her gallbladder taken out yesterday and is doing well. Nannie went over to her house the day before yesterday and it was not good. So yesterday Mom went and helped Nannie clean it up a bit and I guess it need a lot of work....this should be interesting.

First Day of Summer

It's the first day of summer and well I am going to be stuck in my house packing. Thankfully my mom is coming over to help or I don't think much would get done! My google homepage tells me that there is just 11 days until moving day...oh my that is not to many when four of those days I am working and two are the weekend. Seems like we don't get much done on either of those kinds of days. Let just hope we get a big chunk of it done today! Here's to the first day of summer...wish I was a the lake! And getting tons of packing done!

Baby Shower

On Saturday, I went to Krissy's baby shower for baby Zavrick. I had so much fun...instead of playing games we decorated onsies. At first I had no idea what to do, but I figured something out and I totally surprised myself! Krissy got some wonderful gifts and hope that she is able to use each one of them! Brandon and Cathy throw the shower for her and did a wonderful job. The dipar cake that Brandon made was so cute! And the cake was delicious (white chocolate raspberry). I made a Giraffe onsie! Sure did have fun...Enjoy the pictures.

Choosen

So yesterday Zack and Krissy asked if Donny and I would like to be baby Zavricks Godparents. And we were honored to say "Yes". I have become great friends with Krissy through Cathy's Homekeepers meetings and been enjoying every moment of see our friendship grow. It has just be a joy having Krissy as a friend. We are sad to see that they have moved to Rangeley and we are moving to Boulder....be we have the internet to keep us close. Well I had to look up what a Godparent really does and it is a HONOR that they would choose us to be Zavrick's Godparent's. So what I have found about it is that you could be asked to care for the child if something should happen to his parents and you are to mentor or support him in his life growing up to be a Godly man. Zack and Krissy thank you for the opportunity to be apart of your family in this special way and for having us be Baby Zavrick's Godparents! We love you all!

Weekend

This weekend sure did go by fast...we did a lot but nothing productive around our house. Guess that's why I am doing tomorrow while Donny is at work and with Mom's help. On Friday we decided to go out and enjoy the sun by walking around downtown. We got some Gelato (before dinner) with Clara. It was Clara's first time having Gelato...oh I heart Gelato! Then we deiced to redeem our gift card and have dinner at Naggies and new Irish Pub in town. On Saturday we visited Sweetheart, got Dad's Father's day gift, I went to Krissy's baby shower(more on that in another post), and did the Klien family pictures(more of this later too). Busy Day. Today we went to church, celebrated Father's Day, checked out Jackie and Dantes wood floor and continued watching Weeds. Its been a good weekend just wish it didn't have to end so quickly. And to top the weekend off Zack and Krissy asked if we would like to be baby Zavricks godparents! Well hope we have a great week and get lots of things accomplished. Guess I better go to sleep since Donny has the great idea of going to the gym tomorrow morning at 6:15...yeah those words are coming out of his mouth. Good Night.

Happy (Belated) Birthday!

Yesterday was Great Grandma Gallyon's 98th Birthday...she was born in 1912. She is actually my Great Great Grandma(its Papa's Grandma, Grandma Miracle's Mom).
Yesterday was also Cheri's Birthday...I won't say how old she is(proably wouldn't like that), but I hope that she had a great day as well!

What to do

Well its Friday and I have done well about one thing today. I organized scrapbook stuff and scaled down on my containers they were in. So even though I have only done one thing today it has been productive. What I still need to do is make a baby shower card, a father's day card, and clean up this place a little. Its crazy messy...I think I will in-list Donny's help for that one. Can't believe it's already been another week. Time is just flying. Hope to hear back about a job soon! Donny had an interview with a job at the school today...we will see what happens with that. He has to think about the pros and cons of accepting the job. This morning Mom called and said that Sweetheart was in the hospital. She didn't really know why and was going to go up there and be with Nannie. Hope that everything is okay and pray it is nothing serious.

Todays agenda

Time is just going by to fast...seems like I have a lot to do and not that much time. I guess I shouldn't sit here on the computer using up the time that I need to do things. Babysat this morning, went to Michales to get some boxes to organize my scrapbook stuff, off to an eye appointment, then to Mom's to go shopping for a Father's Day gift, home, dinner, go to U-Haul, and then Hobby Lobby for a shadow box. Wow. I better get going. Today is full of getting things done!

Our Wedding Fans. I have had the fans since well our wedding and they have been living in our storage area and Donny has tried to get me to throw them away but I just couldn't. These are 100% homemade and a lot of time and effort went into making these. They are two sided...Each and every piece had to be placed in the printed one at a time. It went something like this...put in printer, press print, put in printer, press print, put in printer, press print and you get the idea. And it didn't stop there. Nanny hand painted each stick pink....not spray paint...she used a brush painted one side let it dry and painted the other side. Then we had to tape a stick to one side and then glue the other side to it. This makes the double sided fan part. Then we got ribbon cut all the pieces to appropriate size and hand tied every bow. As you can imagine this took a while...hence the reason for not wanting to throw them away. One day a while back Donny told me I could keep them until we moved...he refused to move them with us. Unfortunately that day has come and well on Sunday I had to throw them away. I did however keep a few to scrap book along with these memorable pictures.

Poor Shelves

My shelves are so empty

....I need a shadow box for the flowers and wax to keep the sand from falling out before I can pack these.

Here they are beautifully decorated! Although I think it was time to get rid of the wedding pictures....we need to get a few that we like big and just have that hanging up.

And it has begun

We have had boxes in our living room for a while now and I have packed a few things here and there but today we really packed stuff up. Everything is off of our shelves and now our apartment is looking a little empty. We also got some of the kitchen things into boxes...we only have four plates, four bowls (compaired to our 18ish of each). Its coming along and we have only 17 days until moving day(July 3rd). Alough we will still be in Junction until around the 21st. We have some Wedding photo shoots a few weekends in July and don't really want to drive back and forth from boulder to Junction three weeks in a row. I am thinking we need to have a party? But not sure?

I'm Back

Well I came back Saturday but I have been busy. Or not around the computer. So while I was gone Donny got a lovely note that our cable would be no more(we didn't pay for it it just worked)....so since then I haven't got much of the computer because Donny uses it ALL the time. We seriously need another one. Well I have lots to say about my trip but little time. Next blog will be all about it. Until then enjoy a cup of coffee.

Well its been a few days and seems like they have been busy or I haven't been by the computer. No I am off to Denver with my mom so it will be a few more days. Hopefully some pictures when I return. Later!

5th Birthday

This afternoon I went and hung out at Carter's 5th Birthday party at Kid's Plex. Sure do remember that place being a lot cooler. Kids sure do like it...everyone is running around like crazy getting sweaty and enjoying themselves. Got quite a few pictures while I was there. Gotta get my practice on before our weddings. Used the new camera today for the first time(all by myself that is)! Carter sure did have awesome Diego party!

Birthday Cards

I have been making cards here and there and recently I have made quite a few. I thought that I would share some of the birthday cards that I have made. These cards are for three kids that I have been babysitting for the last couple years now and I sure hope they like them...or at least think there cool. Enjoy.

June

Didn't I tell you June was going to be here quick. Well it is. As I think of what's going on then next month its going to go by fast too. Before we know it we will be moving everything out of our apartment and up to Boulder. June is going to be fun and busy. I am starting to babysit and will be doing that two days a week throughout the summer while we are still living here. Next week I am going to Denver with Mom because she has a doctors appointment. While we are there we are of course going to visit Dave and Cheri and go up and see our new place in Boulder. Lots of our time is going to be spent getting things packed and ready to go. Then at the end of the month we are going to help Josh move all his things. This time is going to go fast and by this time next month we will be getting ready to move. And that is kinda scary. Hopefully this month is fun and full of warm weather. Here's to a great June!
