Made It

I got a blog for everyday this month even if I had to blog all of them yesterday. Well not quiet all of them but sure does seem like the end of the month crept up on us. I think that the weather is affecting my perception of what month it is. So Friday nights have turned into our eat out and have fun night. Normally we go to Chick-fil-a because its is awesome but tonight we changed it up and had Chipotle. We have only at there once before and thought that we would give it another try. The whole idea started when I suggested Mexican food because I really wanted chips and salsa. Ended up being a yummy dinner. Can't wait to see what May brings us but I am hoping it brings us a long of great news!

Went to the Homekeepers meeting tonight and we had a guest speaker. Cathy's pastor friend Madeline was there with us this month. Krissy and I were the only ones who came and we had a great time. We also have a super awesome dinner and dessert along with a great message from Pastor Madeline. Pastor Madeline told us a little bit of her testimony from her childhood which was quiet touching. She tied her testimony to 1 John 4:7-8. She also gave us a little challenge of spending just fifteen minutes a day reading and praying for just twenty-one days straight. After twenty-one days things become habit and did you know it only take three days to break a habit. It is so late and I have to get up early. Hopefully I am not crazy tired tomorrow.

100 posts! I have been a blogging like crazy. Can't wait to come back in the future and read all about what I blog. What a great way to save memories. Some that are easily forgotten but fun to read about.

Apartments

So I have been looking at apartments on-line in the Boulder area and I looked at a lot. Its hard because we probably won't actually live in Boulder so we have to decided if we want to live north or south of Boulder both having their pros and cons. It so crazy how the area really determines what you get for your money. Guess I will keep looking and reading reviews so we can decide which apartments we should go visit. Can't wait to get a job so we know that we will actually be able to afford to live there. I know God will provide so I am not going to worry!

Jobs

Jobs keep getting canceled on subfinder luckily I keep getting replacements for most of them but it gets annoying. Subfinder the phone aspect of it calls to tell you that you had a canceled job and well if you don't answer your phone it keeps calling. It calls until you answer and acknowledge that it was canceled. So tonight it called me eight time before I answered the ninth call. I was at Homekeepers and didn't answer my phone. I knew it was going to be calling me because I saw that my job was gone. So I was supposed to sub high school science and now I am subbing high school German. Should be fun.

Winter

I couldn't believe what I saw when I opened the curtain this morning. Snow. Yes two days before may and its snowing. I really just want it to be warm and to stay warm.

Early Early Early

For everyday that I have to get up early the next day is harder. This is day two of getting up and well I didn't want to. I so just want to stay in bed until I want to get up...guess that is going to have to wait until Saturday. Better not take a nap this afternoon...so I can go to be early. And going to bed early is no fun. It's almost Friday! Hope today goes by fast! And Homekeepers tonight!

Stuff

Yesterday I called Boulder school district about elementary teaching jobs because they didn't have much posted on their web site for any jobs and well they don't have any. Yes you heard me right they have no openings for elementary teaching and don't know if they will so hopefully I will get a job as a nanny and next year they will have job openings. Got up super early this morning to sub and I really should be making my lunch for tomorrow but I thought I better up date this again really quick. Youth tonight was just not the same. Student just weren't quite themselves. Hopefully we will be getting some answers soon so it is not so unknown to the students...I really think that would help. I know the people we missed sure did miss us. I just loved my vague tweet: Things just aren't the same. Two different people were like whats not the same. And I left it at that. People who understood know what I was talking about and that is all that mattered. Tomorrow and Friday are early days and then its May. I can't believe that it is May already. Hopefully May is filled with tons of great news and more things start coming together for moving.

Garage

So this weekend while Donny was out climbing in Joes Valley I helped Mom clean out the back shed and the garage. We went through and organized everything. We donated and through away so much stuff it was crazy. Now the garage looks amazing...hopefully it will stay clean! While working we got some not so great news that was completely unexpected. More info to come. I just don't know what to say here on the internets yet. My calendar on my homepage informed me that there is only 19 days until graduation. I can't believe that it is coming up so fast. Before we know it summer is going to be over and we will be living in Boulder. Hopefully thing keeps coming together and everything works out great! In both our moving to Boulder and in regards to the news.

Its back...

The cold weather has returned and I am not liking it. I was enjoying the warm sunny days we were having and really hope they return soon. There were many parts of the mountains that were supposed to get snow. Yes I just said snow...in late April. Weather you are being crazy and I would like you to calm down and go back to normal. SO I have been looking around at nanny jobs in boulder because I think that I am going to be able to get a nanny job easier that a teaching job. I heard that a lot of teacher were laid off there and well its kinda important that I have job and subbing just might not be enough. Well the awesome news is that I filled out an application with an agency that families come to looking for nannies and the lady called me back the next day. I looked at the family profiles on-line and there were quite a few! I gotta just keep checking and hopefully I will be in contact with some families here really soon. Some great news Donny got today was that the company he was planning on working for during the summer is going to let him work remotely while we are living in boulder! Now Donny has a job! We also realized that there is not that much time until we have to be deciding were we want to live and getting things moving on that. We have this Saturday, two more Saturdays then graduation, then Donny's parents are going to be here and we are already to June. Time is going to go so fast. Well guess that means we better get on it and just say oh we have a while because even though August seems far away it is going to be here before we know it. Until next time.

Morning

The morning is already here and I have now already been up for almost an hour. I do however hit the snooze several times so I ended up not getting in the shower until 5:30. After subbing is over I hope that I don't have a job that requires me to be at work at seven in the morning on a regular basis. Having to go to bed somewhere between nine and ten isn't that fun. Hope that today is great! The weather is supposed to be super nice so maybe I will take advantage of getting done at three. Which is the only perk in starting so early. I love the sun!

Photo Session

This afternoon we did an Engagement session for our August 9th bride. We did the pictures down town but in new places...I think these are going to be great! We even had two cameras which was awesome. The pictures are currently uploading and well that might take awhile so perhaps there will be a photo preview tomorrow. Donny will probably get them done fast because he is excited about them.
This week is starting our great...have an elementary job tomorrow which means that I don't have to get up early and that makes me happy. Other great things about this week is that I am babysitting two days and super excited about it. One of the moms I babysit for sent me a text letting me know how much they appreciate me and how sad they are that I am moving...they had a babysitter this weekend that was horrible. I just can't understand how you can be a bad babysitter if you love kids? Boggles my mind. I sure do love that family! Hopefully all my sub jobs stay and the week goes great!

New Places

Donny and I decided to go downtown and scope out some new places for downtown photo shoots and I think we found some sweet places! Wait until we get some pictures up from our Sunday engagement session...with two cameras! After walking around downtown we stopped by Roasted and Gelato Junction.

Friday!

It's Friday! Yeah! Hope that the weather continues to stay nice over the weekend so that we can enjoy it while not being at school/work. Went to be early again last night...this is a lot of nights in a row going to be early. Next week won't be as bad. I have an elementary job on Monday and I am babysitting on Wednesday and Friday so only Tuesday and Thursday will be early mornings! Hope today goes well.

Spring!

Donny has been taking pictures with the new camera. And since he is taking pictures of anything that he thinks might make a cool picture we get things like this. This is a pretty sweet picture of some trees at our apartments that starting to bloom. Its exciting that spring is here and the weather is starting to be nice!

Business Investment

Donny and I made another investment to our photography business and bought a new camera! Donny was super excited and taking pictures of crazy things. Hopefully this Sunday when we do an Engagement session two cameras will work their magic. Can't wait to see our business to continue to grow! That means that we can keep buying more camera stuff! Excited to be going to a Miche purse party! Maybe I will be getting a new purse? But who knows.

Good to Go

So far this morning no calls and the job is still on subfinder. Once again I went to be early and I don't feel to tired right now...I am sure later on today I will. It never fails. Even yesterday when I got to sleep in I was still tired at the end of the day. I think it is because I didn't do anything. Except yesterday I put all the clothes away and cleaned the kitchen. That was good. Hope today is a great day! Going to a Miche purse party tonight!

Twice

So this morning I received a call that my job for today was canceled. I could not believe that two days in a row my jobs were canceled the morning of. At least today I wasn't out of bed yet. And the worst part of it is that I went to be early. This better not happen again.

Canceled

So got up this morning and when I got to the school I was supposed to be at I got a phone call...letting me know that they didn't need me. There was a change in the schedule and they must have forgotten to cancel the job when they decided that. So I drove all the way back home and ended up with no job. Hopefully that doesn't happen again. So I took a nap and really didn't do much today. Still can't believe that I got up early for nothing. End up working out I guess.

A Little Late

Last night I went to bed a little bit later than I would have liked. We were out celebrating Clara's Birthday at IHOP and got home at a decent time but I had to make my lunch and then help Donny get the laundry started. Thankfully I didn't have to stay up for it to be finished. I can't wait until we have laundry in our apartment/house! Today I am starting off tired this can't be a good sign. Hope that the day goes well...middle school science. This is the first week that I will be waking up early everyday. So by Friday I am going to be crazy wore out. At least the weather is starting to be nice out and I can enjoy some sunshine after school. Except today of course.

Elementary

I sure do know I want to be an elementary teacher for sure...especially after subbing. I have sub'd so much at the middle/high school that I don't have to wonder what it is like. On Friday I sub'd in the class that I student taught in and it was great. It was like going back home. I knew were everything was, I knew other teachers, and best of all I knew all the kids. The kids were so excited to see me there in the morning. I sure do wish I was subbing more in the elementary schools. Well at least I have some jobs and none of them have be completely horrible so I am glad for that.

This Week

I can't believe that it is Monday again....and I am getting up early. I sure do hope that I eventually get used to this because it appears that I am going to be getting jobs at middle/high school and that requires you to get up early. I am very thankful that I have jobs! So far this week I have three and half days all of which are early. Today I am also calling boulder to get some more information on jobs there! Hopefully I find out some great news! Good luck to all my friends who are starting to apply for specific jobs that they want here in Junction!! Guess I better finish getting ready...I have to be at school at seven. Luckily today is my half day so I get to come home and relax for a while after I work! Have a great week everyone.

Day Four

Today was day four of getting up early. I didn't feel as tired today during the day but once I got home I was super tired with a headache a had to take a nap. Tomorrow is going to be exciting...I am subbing 1st grade where I student taught! Great way to end a crazy week.

Day Three

It's day three of getting up early. You wouldn't think that one hour would make such a difference but it does. A big one. Fell asleep around nine last night so at least last night I got a significant amount of sleep. Feeling tired right now lest see how I feel this afternoon. Yesterday I was so tired but I resisted and didn't take a nap. And just to let you know I haven't had coffee all week. Only one more day! We can do this. I am so going to be early again!

Recap

Before the time got away I thought I should write something about Easter celebrations. So the weekend was cold and well Easter is not supposed to be cold. Despite the weather we colored eggs and these were not just our normal colored eggs...they were monsters! Then on Sunday we enjoyed a great church service and then had a delicious lunch with Papa and Nannie. We ended up not hiding eggs because it was cold and windy...maybe next year. I am so tired and don't know what else to say and really need to go to bed. This getting up early sucks.

Day Two

Today is day two of getting up early. Had to take a nap yesterday because I was so tired. Stupid clock. Well don't feel to bad right now...see how I feel this afternoon. Hope today goes well. Start my three days in the same classroom. At least I have a great lunch!

Way Early

I had plans of blogging about Easter but we got home to late. Since I had to get up a 5:15am in the morning I thought that sleep was a little bit more important that blogging. So once again Easter blog is going to have to wait. I sure hope that this week goes well. I have sub jobs everyday and well four of the five days I am getting up way to early. Its going to be super nice to sleep in on Saturday!

No Good

This month is not starting off good...with blogs that is. It is the third and this is my first blog of the month. Hopefully I will get a real post up soon. Coloring Easter eggs today! So excited! Have a wonderful Saturday!
