Olympics

Yesterday the Olympics started with the opening ceremony. The 2010 Winter Games are in Vancouver, Canada. The ceremony was crazy with the different effects they used. It was also sad because a luge athlete from the country Georgia died during a practice run. The country honored him by wearing black arm bands when they marched in. The athlete is also being honored by the Olympic and Canadian flag being flown at half mass. Along with the opening ceremony of the Olympics I subbed again in 2nd grade and had a wonderful time. It was the Valentine's Day party and well it was a bit crazy. I am just going to note that for future parties in my own classroom I am going to make sure that there is something going on the whole time. Perhaps doing stations? This is just a friendly reminder.
