February
February has come to a close. I actually will have 29 posts because yesterday I ended up doing two posts. The Olympics were the highlight of the month. This was also a really cold month. Well I can't wait for it to warm up but this was a February to remember. I was able to blog enough blogs to have one for everyday plus an extra. Today was just a typical Sunday and nothing much happened. I checked subfinder like crazy and well the whole day was disappointing. The Olympics closing ceremonies were tonight and United States ended with the most medals although Canada had the most gold. The U.S. vs Canada hockey game was a crazy one...won by Canada in over time! Great job Canada. The end of the 2010 game medal count is United States 37 (G-9, S-15, B-13), Germany 30 (G-10, S-13, B-7), Canada 26 (G-14, S-7, B-5). Until 2014 in Sochi, Russia! Until next time.
Why?
I was just looking at a photographer's fan page on facebook, and I just want to know what are we doing wrong. Out of the handful of wedding pictures they had on there, 13 of them were black and white with the flowers colored. This is not only a terrible look but some recently told me that they have a iphone app that does that. Need I say more about this type of picture. This particular photographer also offers packages as low as $700, but you only get three hours of coverage at your wedding and the prices go all the way up to $2500 for just seven hours of coverage and way too many 4x6's. So what is it that we need to do? I feel that what we are offering is quality...yet no one seems to agree. I just want to know how do we get known because I am sure that is the key, but first someone has to like what they see. Maybe black and white with color flowers is the answer? We will never know because I personally think that ruins great pictures. Donny and I still have a goal of being wedding photographers and I am not going to let something like this crush our dreams. I sometimes wonder if we are not offering what Grand Junction wants or thinks about when they think of wedding photography. Perhaps the kind of photos we do is too hip for Grand Junctions traditions.

Today
Today. Well it was a Saturday and it was cold. Watched the news because I thought that more Olympics was going to come but no. Did learn that at this time last year we had already made it into the 60's and on March 3rd it was 71. Just looked at the weather today and March 8th chance of snow high of 38...that is the first day of Spring Break. Our Spring Break is way to early. Wish I was going to WPPI in Vegas. The Olympics are over tomorrow and I am going to miss having something to watch at night. As far as medals go we are still winning in the overall but don't have the most golds. Medal count as of tonight is United States 36 (G-9, S-14, B-13), Germany 29 (G-10, S-12, B-7), and Canada 25 (G-13, S-7, B-5). Tomorrow is the Canada vs. United States mens hockey game so we will see if Canada can get another gold or will it go to the United States? Should be an exciting game. U.S. already beat Canada once...can we do it again? Only tomorrow knows. Until next time.
P.S--Subfinder can you please give me a job for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday? I will love you forever!

Last Weekend
This is the last weekend of February and I can't believe that Monday is going to be March. Today was my second day at middle school music and it was nothing that you would think. The students watched a movie and had to complete a worksheet on it. Donny skipped school and went snowboarding today and is going again tomorrow. Nothing exciting happened today. Its been a pretty chill week. Went and walked around the mall but as usual didn't buy anything. Think that the rest of the night is going to be full of watching the Olympics and a Nexflix that we have had for weeks. Won't be a medal update since there are still medaling event going on right now. Until next time.

Not Feeling It
Well today I really don't feel like writing anything. But I really want to have a blog of everyday so I am still writing something. Today I sub'd middle school music and sub there tomorrow so I will update about that later. I also went to the Home Keepers meeting that Cathy does and had such a great time. We made pie and learned about goal setting. I also went to the gym with Jackie. Well its time for blueberries and mozzarella sticks. Oh and the phrase "no jobs available at this time" better change into next week full of subbing. An updated medal count. United States 32 (G-8, S-12, B-12), Germany 26 (G-8, S-11, B-7), and Norway 19 (G-7, S-6, B-6). Until next time.

Second Grade!
Sub'd second grade today and had such a fun time. Seems like I have sub'd in second grade a lot. When I was letting my class in from recess on of the girls from my student teaching class spotted me and ran yelling "Mrs. Warbritton is here!" several times. Well while I was subbing I went and saw the class I student taught in and I was a super distraction. As soon as I was spotted it was a mad dash to give me a hug. I can't believe how much the students still love me and I love them. Tomorrow is going to be interesting because I am subbing middle school choir. The Olympics today had speed skating and women's aerials. Those skiers are crazy! As for the medal count we are still on top! United States 28 (G-7, S-9, B-12), Germany 24 (G-7, S-10, B-7), and Norway 18 (G-6, S-6, B-6). Until next time.

Ice Skating
The Olympics are full of ice skating. They have figure skating for men, women, and couples along with the ice dancing. And tonight Donny was talking about how hockey is the only sport that you have to learn something before you can play. To be able to play hockey you have to know how to ice skate. This is just some thoughts about ice skating. Since the Olympics have been on that is all we have watched at night and with that we have watched a lot of news...and we never watch the new. Today I subbed a half day at middle school and it went well. These middle school jobs just aren't as fun as elementary jobs but its money. Tomorrow I am subbing 2nd grade and then Thursday and Friday I am at middle school for choir. Even though I have had three half days this week ended up being full. Hopefully I can fill up next week. Its only going to Wednesday...this week seems to be going on forever. As for the medal count Germany is catching up to us slowly. United States 26 (G-7, S-9, B-10), Germany 23 (G-7, S-9, B-7) and Norway 17 (G-6, S-5, B-6). Until next time.

Almost Over
I can't believe that February is almost over and it will soon be March. The weather sure don't make it feel like it could be this close to spring. What a cold winter we have had. Well I sure hope that the weather warms up because spring break is only two weeks away. Well today was just Monday. I didn't sub today but I did babysit. I only babysat for a few hours but it was nice. Baby Ashlyn wasn't feeling that well but was very calm and happy. She had bronchitis and an eye infection. I just love these kids so much and I can't believe how big Ash is getting she is already eight months old. Went to yoga tonight and were running a few minutes late because I was babysitting normally it won't have mattered but there was a substitute yoga teacher...that started on time. I was able to pick up a job for tomorrow its only a half day but it is better than nothing. Wish it was a whole day...maybe next time. Watch ice dancing on the Olympics tonight and Canada won gold and United State won silver. We are still winning in the overall medal count but it is getting close. United States 25 (G-7, S-8, B-10), Germany 21 (G-7, S-9, B-5), and Norway 14 (G-6, S-3, B-5). Until next time.

It's Over
The weekend is over, but it really doesn't matter because well I don't have a job tomorrow. I did have a job but it was canceled. I guess maybe it is good because I have sorta sore throat. I do babysit tomorrow so its not like I am doing nothing. Today was just a typical Sunday. On the Olympics today was the Canada vs United States hockey and we won!! There has also been Ice dancing and 2 man bobsledding. What am I going to watch at night after the Olympics are over? The medal counts for today. United States 24 (G-7, S-7, B-10), Germany 18 (G-6, S-7, B-5), and Norway 12 (G-5, S-3, B-4). Until next time.

Twenty
Today is the Twentieth of February and this is my twentieth blog for the month. So I wanted to try to blog every day in the month of February and have done pretty good. Well even though I have not blogged everyday I have made up for those lost days by blogging more than once. Hopefully I can keep blogging for the months to come. Today was a good day. Mom and I went and got pedicures at Ascent Salon and they are amazing. I can't wait to wear my Chacos! While we were getting our pedicures it was snowing like crazy. Speaking of snow I can't believe that Spring Break is just two weeks away it is still really cold out. We are just going to have to take a mini vacation to warm place. Were could I go? Somewhere warm and not to expensive...I will have to think about that. We are still rockin the medal count in the Olympics and Apolo Ohno had an amazing race tonight. Tonight medal count United States 23 (G-6, S-7, B-10), Norway 11 (G-5, S-3, B-3), and Germany 14 (G-4, S-6, B-4). Poor Canada they only have eight medals total. Until next time.

Congratulations!
Congratulations to Jackie and Dante who are get married!! Jackie is a great friend who I met through the teacher program at Mesa State. She introduced Donny and I to the funnest yoga class ever at Crossroads and has been the best gym partner anyone could ask for. Jackie got engaged in Mexico...what a great place to get engaged! I can't wait to get together with Jackie and hear all the details of their trip to Mexico and the engagement (they just got back yesterday). Congratulations!
Today I subbed 2nd grade again but not the same class as last week. I had a great day with the kiddos and can't wait to have my own classroom some day really soon! I sure hope I can keep sub jobs in elementary classrooms but will definitely take whatever I can get. I can't believe that tomorrow is Saturday again! But I sure am not complaining. As usual Donny will be going snowboarding and I am not sure what I will be doing yet but I am sure it won't be anything to crazy. Olympics have not be that exciting tonight and they are still going but here is the medal count as of right now and let me tell you we are still rocking it! United States 20 (G-6, S-6, B-8), Norway 10(G-5, S-3, B-2) Germany 13 (G-4, S-5, B-4). Until next time.

Babysitting
So I didn't have a sub job today but I did babysit tonight. I babysat for a new family this time. Heather the mom I normally babysit for recommend me to a friend, Anne. I was honored that Heather had talked so fondly of me that Anne was excited to have me babysit for her. I had such a great time tonight with Wyatt and baby Westen. If I wasn't going to be a teacher I would be a nanny. It would definitely be a great way to spend my days. Well tomorrow my dreams have come true...I am subbing in 2nd grade and then babysitting for Heather for a few hours afterwords. It should be a busy and good day. Well the Olympics were packed full of great athletes tonight. Womens snowboarding halfpipe and mens ice skating. Mr. Evan Lysacek won GOLD in ice skating and Women got Silver and Bronze in snowboarding with Australia getting the Gold. As for the medal count we are rocking it: United States 18 (G-6, S-4 ,B- 7), Germany 11 (G-4, S-4, B-3), and Norway (G-3, S-3, B-2). Until next time.

Nothing Much
Not much happened today so the post will be short. Great news from the Olympics...Shaun White takes GOLD in the mens halfpipe. This is the second Olympic gold for Shaun White! The medal count is looking good for the us...United State 14 (G-5, S-3 ,B-6), Germany 10 (G-3,S-4 ,B-3), South Korea 5 (G-3, S-2). Until next time.

Today and Yesterday
Yesterday. So yesterday was spent not doing to much since there was no school there was no chance of sub job. Mom and I were going to do some shopping but she was not feeling well so we ended up just going to Boarders. I really wanted the book Amelia Badelia's First Valentines but there were no more Valentines books in the store. Are you kidding me. I was really hoping that the book was half off. Guess I will have to order from amazon. Today I subbed eight grade social studies. I think I have said it before...middle school is not my favorite and its really boring. I monitored students as they watch a Lewis and Clark movie. A movie that was not that exciting and I had to see it twice. I do have to appreciate the job though so I guess watch a Lewis and Clark movie twice was worth it. Tonight we watch the Olympic and saw the men's short program in skating and the women's snowboarding cross. Along with going to the gym. I have now become a fan of frozen blueberries and ate a whole bunch today. The medal count is as follows: Germany 9 (G-3, S-4, B-2), South Korea 4 (G-3, S-1), Switzerland 4 (G-3, S-1) and the United States 8 (G-2, S-2, B-4). Just as a side note...subfinder and I are now not on speaking terms even though I keep checking it. Until next time.
No Time
Since Donny used the computer almost all night I do not have enough time to write a long blog telling you about my day. I will have to do that tomorrow. I would have had time but I finished filling out my Extended Learning Enrichment application and got that sent off. Oh one thing. Subfinder and I are no longer friends. Until next time.

Valentine's Day
Today was spent going to church and hanging out at Mom and Dad's. Today was just like any other Sunday. Valentine's Day is kind of a dumb holiday. I mean I wouldn't mind getting a gift just because I am loved, but I would much prefer something other than chocolate and candy. Since we just celebrated Donny's birthday last week and my birthday just over a month ago and several birthday just before and in between we decided to not get each other anything for Valentine's Day. So even though I didn't get a gift I know that I am loved. Tomorrow is a no school day so I don't have any chance of a job. This week is not looking so good...I only have one half day job so far. I am hoping for more and hopefully subfinder doesn't fail me. Even though it is President's Day tomorrow Donny still has to go to school. Olympic medal count as follows: France 3 (G-2, B-1), Germany 4 (G-1, S-3), and United States 6 (G-1, S-2, B-3). Until next time.

Saturday
Today was a lazy day. Donny went snowboarding today just like every Saturday and I hung out at Mom's house. Normally Mom and I go shopping but today we decided not to go anywhere and stayed home and watch some "Little Couple" and the opening ceremonies (mom didn't see them last night). We had a photo meeting today and guess what...the person didn't show. This time we had their number with us and called ten minutes after it was supposed to start and they forgot. Well I guess they don't want wedding photos. So I have decided that people of Grand Junction aren't ready for our candid type photos and perhaps our prices. Well maybe this just isn't the year for our business to get big. I wonder if its not supposed to because we are (hopefully) moving to Boulder and its supposed to get big there. We have three wedding this season so far, which is more than last years season. I call this a success even if we don't get anymore. Today was the first day of Olympic games. I didn't watch much since there wasn't the best sports on but the medal count for the top three countries as followed: United States 4(G-1, S-1, B-2), South Korea 2(G-1, S-1) and Netherlands 1 (G-1). Until next time.
Olympics
Yesterday the Olympics started with the opening ceremony. The 2010 Winter Games are in Vancouver, Canada. The ceremony was crazy with the different effects they used. It was also sad because a luge athlete from the country Georgia died during a practice run. The country honored him by wearing black arm bands when they marched in. The athlete is also being honored by the Olympic and Canadian flag being flown at half mass. Along with the opening ceremony of the Olympics I subbed again in 2nd grade and had a wonderful time. It was the Valentine's Day party and well it was a bit crazy. I am just going to note that for future parties in my own classroom I am going to make sure that there is something going on the whole time. Perhaps doing stations? This is just a friendly reminder. Hope I am able to get some jobs for next week! Until next time,

Thursday
Today was a busy day. I subbed in 2nd grade, we have two photo meetings (one called and canceled while we were waiting), went to vitamin cottage, grocery shopped and put all of our clothes away. We were going to go to the gym but it is just to late and I have to wake up early. 2nd grade again. Subbing was fun. I just love the little kids more than the older ones. I came hope with several colored hearts and a note. The students get to color or write during read aloud. Tomorrow should be a fun day...The Valentines Day party. I got my 1st grade class (one I student taught in) a valentine with a honey stick. I got honey sticks because one of the students is allergic to sugar so instead of getting just him something different I got everyone a honey stick. I also got a box on Bunny Grams for the class to have if they forget their snack. Tomorrow should be fun and I am excited for the weekend. Hopefully I am able to pick up some jobs for next week. Until next time.

Subfinder
Oh, how I don't know whether to love you or hate you. This is the site that is used to get sub jobs if you don't do a pre-arranged job. Although I have gotten some jobs from here most of the time it is just disappointing. And to get a job you have to be quick and I mean quick. Yesterday I clicked on a job and then clicked 'yes' I want it then it told me the job was gone. What...I obviously did not click fast enough. Because of subfinder I have subbed at high school and middle school. Well I guess this means that I have to love it. Today I subbed half day. Once again I did not do much. The teacher I sub for this afternoon is in charge on an academic lab where students have a class period to work on homework. These middle and high school job do seem a bit easier than the elementary jobs. I guess tomorrow will give me the chance to compare for sure. Hope I have a great day tomorrow in second grade. Friday should be fun...Valentines Day Party. Until next time.

MS Science/Math
Yesterday I subbed Middle School Science/Math. I subbed for a seventh grade teacher in a class were students are taught subjects in both Spanish and English. I had a really great experience. I taught two block classes one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Each block was half math and half science. The students did their math in English and their Science in Spanish.
Today I did not have a sub job and it is the only day I don't have anything go on except getting my glasses. I think that today was a good relaxing day and I enjoyed staying home. I did some cleaning up and not much else. I can't wait to see what other jobs I can get for the weeks to come. I am pleasantly surprised at how many jobs I have been able to get and it has been great! Until next time.

Glasses!
So today I got my glasses. They are totally sweet...maybe not my first choice of what the frames would look like but with my limited selection they are awesome. I can't wait to test them out at night and see if they help with the driving issues that I seemed to be having. I can already tell that they make things sharper that are far away...it is really only noticeable with words. I have been wearing them here and there today and I wore them to the photo meeting (when nobody showed) and when we got home I felt that they were making me a bit nausea. I know I just need to get used to them I just hope they help me for night driving. So what do you think?
(picture coming soon)
I picked these ones because I thought the purple was sweet and they didn't make me look any younger. There was another pair I liked but the lady at the eye doctor said they looked like ones that a early high school would pick out so they were out. These ones are sweet and the rine stones in the side make them look expensive. Maybe now people will think I am older since most people guess my age way younger than I really am. Until next time.

Two Days
No. Nothing exciting is happening in two days. It is that two days in a row we had photo meeting scheduled with brides and they didn't show up. So here we are sitting at Traders waiting for them to show and just wondering if they forgot or we are really being stood up. So is it that we don't have great pictures and nobody wants to book us or that people are stupid and don't have the kindness to let you know that they forgot about the meeting or they aren't going to be able to make it. Well I really hope that it is that they just forgot. So this marks two days that we have been let down. Along with that we have meet with two brides already and neither one of them called back...both said that they were going to and didn't. So to everyone out there don't tell your potential wedding photographer that you will call them back unless you really plan on doing it. Until next time.

Happy Birthday
Happy Birthday Donny! We celebrated Donny's birthday by going out to eat at Red Robin on Sunday with Mom and Dad. Then Clara made the famous Warbritton Chocolate Cake for dessert! I ended up getting Donny a sweet bag for school that holds a lap top in a separate compartment, a hoddie from a snowboarding company and a knife. We were supposed to have photography consultation today but the person never showed up and Donny choose to go to dinner at Chick-fil-a. Didn't really do much today since it was a school day and I subbed. Until next time.

HS Math
Today I sub High School Math. Yes. High School. One thing that I did not appreciate was that I had to get up at 5:15am to be to the school by 7am. Oh my that is just to early in the morning. The day went well...I can't believe how much plan time is in the day for them I guess that is why the elementary schools get a whole plan day(s). Not something that I would want to do everyday but I can totally sub it. It is now the weekend and Donny's birthday is about here and I still don't have a gift idea. Everything that he wants is to expensive and we aren't talking a hundred dollars there more like thousands of dollars. Obviously not in the budget for birthday gift prices. Next week is looking pretty good as far as subbing goes. On Monday I am subbing Middle School Science, need something Tuesday and Wednesday, subbing 2nd grade Thursday and Friday. Unfortunately Monday is going to cause me to have to get up before the sun again. Until next.

First Grade!
Today I spent my day in first grade. It was a fun day...the kids were well behaved and of course they liked me. I actually knew many of them from student teaching. There were kids from my student teaching class that were sad I wasn't their sub...they also had a sub. I am really thinking that I love first grade. I have a couple second grade days next week so we will see how it compares to first grade. Tomorrow is going to be the day to hear about. I am subbing high school math. I am confident that it will go well. And then on Monday I am subbing middle school science. Donny and I went to the gym tonight and I did the elliptical for a bit and then decided not to do anything else. At least I went to the gym on Tuesday with Jackie. I can't believe how early I have to get up in the morning...I have to be there at 7am. What. Yeah I have to leave the house before the sun is up. I better get off to sleep. Until next time.

Wednesday
Today I babysat Ash and Carter. I am going to be so sad when we move away and I don't see them anymore. I guess it will be awhile. Babysitting went well and the rest of the day I didn't really do much. After church we went to Scott and Alana's for food and visit time. Jayden was just cracking me up...Tabfa come see my room like six times along with showing many other things. He sure does love me. He is getting so big and smart. Tomorrow is going to be fun! I am subbing in first grade! I will have to tell about how it goes tomorrow. It is hard to believe tomorrow is Thursday this week has seemed to go by pretty fast. I better get on it and figure out what to get Donny for his birthday...which is Monday. Until next time.

Groundhog Day
It is Groundhog Day and the groundhog saw its shadow so that means six more weeks of winter...I so hope this is not true. I am ready for spring. I think he is lying to see if we can really handle the cold weather. Today has been good. I subbed at preschool and then took a nap in the afternoon. This is a great perk of subbing half day! I also got a sub job for Friday at the high school...for math. It will be interesting. Hopefully all goes well and I make it through the day. We had another consultation today and I hope that it turns into a booking. Didn't really do much today so not much to write about. Until next time.

February!
Wow its February already! This month is going to be a ton of fun. We have exciting news...had a consultation meeting today with a potential bride and another one tomorrow! Hopefully we book a few more weddings. Well what is happening in February? Donny's birthday (what to get him?) is next Monday, Valentines day (which is not that important), and hopefully lots of wedding bookings and sub jobs! Today was a fun day at the preschool...and I go back tomorrow. Hope the rest of February is as great as today! Until next time
