Observations
So for this semester I will be going to a fourth grade class at Nesley Elementary. I don't know what to expect but hopefully it will be a good experience. I am not really sure if I like forth grade but it is better that having to be in fifth grade! Can't wait to go my first day on Wednesday!
2 weeks gone
All ready the second week of school is over I can't believe how fast the weeks have gone by. Well not much of anything is new around here. Just going to school and doing homework and babysitting still. There is some exciting news Uncle Dave and Ceri are having a girl her name is Madison! So after almost twenty two years Papa(my grandpa) will officially have two granddaughters! That is really exciting! Hope that the rest of the school year goes great!

10 hours later
So on Tuesday I was at school for 10 hours form 8am-6pm. Crazy as it may sound this means that I don't have to go to school on Monday, Wednesday, and only one hour on Friday. I do have to say that it is easier just going to school a little on each day though. My classes seem like they are going to be okay, we didn't really do much in them so we will have to wait and see what they are going to be like for sure in the next couple weeks. Hope that this school year goes well.

Last Saturday of No Homework
I can't believe that school is starting on Monday. This will be the last Saturday that we don't have homework until Christmas time. Today we went to the Palisade Peach Festival and well it was sorta disappointing. Not much of anything except tons of vendors selling things you don't want. But we did get a free peach! Today was also the last day Don and Theresa are here. We ended their visit by having a great dinner of chicken bowls and homemade peach cobbler along with watching Michael Phelps swim the most amazing race of his life. Phelps is now the greatest American Olympic athlete with 8 gold medals in one Olympic game and 12 career Olympic medals total. Go Michael Phelps!

Mountain Biking
So tonight right after dinner Donny and Don wanted to take us all (me, Clara, and Treyce) mountain biking out in Loma. They said the trail was easy, and easy to me and easy to them just is not the same. Needless to say that it was not easy, I guess you could say it would be easy if you actually did more outdoors activities. The best part of this was that we had a great dinner of barbecue brisket, potato salad, and Olathe sweet corn, all homemade of course. So can you imagine going on this bike ride after eating this wonderful food, well it did not turn out well. About half way through of the ride we had stopped to rest and I ended up throwing up a little bit of that dinner. And it was not because I was sick it was because I was to hot. I guess in the end the bike ride was not that bad.

Olympics 2008
Have you been watching the Olympics? Well of course we have and its pretty awesome.Gymnastics has been going well except for the Chinese winning the team gold medal, but in swimming Michael Phelps has got more gold medals than any other American athlete ever with 11 as of right now and still has three more races to go and try to get the most gold medals ever in one Olympics. Well we still have tons of Olympics left so I guess the fun is not over.

Tuesday
Today is the offical one week count down until I have to go back to school since I don't have Monday classes! I am using my time wisely by sitting here doing nothing enjoying that I don't have anything to do. Hopefully I don't get to board.

Last Week!
This is officially the last week of summer break. I don't know if I am ready for school to start but I am sure ready to be done with school forever. I only have three more semesters left so I can't wait to be done! The best part of going back to school is the back-to-school shopping! Well hopefully this week is full of fun and adventure.

Scrapbooking
So I am trying to get my wedding scrapbook done before school starts and well I sure hope that I accomplish my goal. And since Don and Theresa are coming into town on Thursday I am trying to get most of it done before they arrive. I am off to a good start since I did not have to babysit today, scrapbooking all day is fun!

Schools starting again...
I can't believe that school starts here again in less than two weeks. Summer will be over and everyone will be back into the world of homework again. I have to say that I think I am ready for it to start its just seems like summer when by so fast. The sucky part is having to buy books again. I went down to the bookstore today and well lets just say I am not excited to have to buy them, hopefully they will be cheaper on the internet? Guess I will be enjoying this last two weeks of freedom!

KaCee & Wes's Engagement Pictures
Yesterday Donny and I went and took some engagement pictures for KaCee and Wes. It was really fun to work with them and I think we were able to get some super cute shots, despite it raining for a bit. Sure am glad that it the rain didn't last for long. Here are a few of my favorites and see them all check out flickr.com/photos/donnyw
