The Weekend

I can't believe that yet another weekend is gone and its already Monday tomorrow. Did not really do anything exciting either, helped my mom take stuff to Good Will and clean the garage and did homework. Not the most exciting but better than nothing. Oh, and today we went on a bike ride. Turned out to be fun, except it was hot. My parents did get a pool....and we swam in it today!



One sweet thing that Donny and I did do was decided what to do for our 1st Anniversary! We are going to go to Pagosa Springs Hot Springs, unfortunately not on our anniversary but in October during fall break. Can't wait. Plus October seem like a better time for hot springs, won't be so hot. hehe. Don't worry we will go out to eat and celebrate on the 20th of July. Hopefully this is a great week.

Summer Calculus

As you know I am taking a calculus class right now and well I am not liking it very much. It would not be so bad except for four days in a row you have to sit for three hours and listen to the teacher blab about calculus for ever. I will be glad when it is over!

Oh a happier note I have officially started our wedding scrapbook. If I want to get it done by our one year anniversary then I better get to working at a bit faster pace.

Ipod touch

I am typing on claras sweet new iPod touch. This is so sweet I can't beleive I have never played on one of these before? Well now I have!go me!

Summer School

So today is the first day of my summer class and I am already not looking foward to it and I have not even left yet to go to the class. Its not so much the class its the waking up early to go there. I hope that it all goes well and that this teacher is much better than the last.

Our Car

So this is the story about the car that we (actually really Donny) drive on a need only bases. He normally just drives it to work and occasionally I will drive it if he takes the jeep out climbing. Anyway on Wednesday it decided to stop working on the side of the road while Donny was on the way home. First he just thought maybe it was out of gas and the gas meter was wrong. Not the problem. We don't really know what is wrong just that we had to have it towed down to a shop to get it looked at. Oh and about the towing first we call to see how much it is and they say "$75 plus $4 a mile and 20% gas charge" and we were like um NO that is way to much. Then my Dad was going to tow it for us....I got the bright idea and called the insurance company and it was free. Covered by our insurance! Way sweet! Now all we have to do is wait to see whats wrong with the thing.

Fort Wayne Trip

Overall the trip was great and it was wonderful seeing every.

Day 1: We drove to Denver and stayed at the Sleep Inn, which ended up being a crazy night with hail and rain, but the weather the next day was beautiful. The drive went well, and I have officially decided that three trips to Denver in a month is way to much.

Day 2: Travel Day...All of our flights went well and we made it to Fort Wayne safely.

Day 3: Graduation Day!! We spent the afternoon hanging out waiting for the graduation in the evening. Graduation was great and now Clara is officially out of high school! Way to go Clara!

Day 4: Got up in the morning not to early which was nice and got ready for a sweet day! We went to the Fort Wayne Zoo, nothing like going to the day at the Zoo! Then we went to Casa Grill for lunch to celebrate Clara's Graduation!

Day 5: Today we spent the day getting ready for the graduation party. Clara, Donny and I went to the wal-mart to get pictures made then walked around the mall and got some yummy food. Made cookies and experienced a tornado warning while hiding out in the basement.

Day 6: Graduation Party!! All morning long was spent making the rest of the cookies, and getting the house picked up for the party. There was not much to clean because we had to clean it for house showings. Thank goodness or we would have never got done. Got to see Donny's family again. Party was fun and I am so glad that I got to be there.

Day 7: Travel Day Again! Let Fort Wayne in the morning got to Detriot on time then eneded up being delayed there and got home two hours later than planed. Guess all worked out and we made it home safe. Once again we had to drive 4 hours and the day was long.

After Tornado Pictures

When the tornado warning was all over Donny rushed outside to take pictures of the sky. Turns out it was amazing looking and he got some great pictures. Here are a few to show you what it looked like.

Tornado Warnings

Tornado Warnings! Wow this is how exciting it would be to live in Fort Wayne Indiana. Currently we are sitting in the basement at Donny's parents house watching the news as this tornado warning is going on. Clara and I were trying to make cookies for her graduation party but that was put to a hold until the warning is over. We can pretty much do nothing until the warning is over. The neighbors also came to join us because they have no basement. Were all having tons of fun eating pie and drinking coffee. I don't think that that anything will happen so all is well.

airport wait

Lucky DIA has decided to provide free internet for us to take advantage of if it were not for this we would have been extremely board for an hour. Nothing exciting happened this morning got up and got ready to get on the shuttle. Got through security quickly with no problems. We did get some delicious breakfast at Caribou coffee because the hotels breakfast sucks. Next time we fly out of here we are staying at a different hotel. Hopefully the rest of the day goes well and we are able to get good food and not terrible airport food.

Made it to Denver!

Got off on our drive to Denver about 1pm and got to here about 5pm. We are staying at the Sleep Inn which just to let you know charges for parking now. So not cool. But the free shuttle to the airport makes up for the parking charge. Tomorrow we will be leaving around 11am. So fortunately we don't have to get up super early. Hope that the flights tomorrow are great and can't wait to be in Indiana.

Getting Ready

Currently I am getting ready to go to Indiana. When Donny gets home we are driving to Denver staying the night and then flying out tomorrow to go to Indiana! We are going to celebrate Clara's Graduation! I am so excited to go. Even though this will be the third time that I have driven to Denver this last month. Crazy, way to many trips to Denver but definitely worth it. Hopefully it will be tons of fun! Have a great trip.
